We had the incredible opportunity to meet and interview with Sachi of J-WAVE 81.3 FM, a local radio station that broadcasts in Japan. What’s great about this station is that they feature artists from Hawaii!! We hope Japan likes MighTy J music, we’d love to perform for the people in Japan sometime soon!

MighTy J Martini is the Featured Cocktail on Cocktailshawaii.com
The MighTy J Martini was created to represent the ladies of MighTy J (”Mai”, “T” and “J”). Essentially we wanted something that would be PLAYFUL to the taste, SEXY to look at, yet SOPHISTICATED enough to be enjoyed by a variety of adults. Furthermore, we made sure that our drink contained the three colors of MighTy J: that being Green for “J”, Yellow for “Mai” and Orange for “T.” To add to this, we wanted the drink to be served in a Martini glass. MighTy J’s friendly mixologists/creators, Chryssy Naluai and Lani Young, ca me up with a very special drink and it fit all the “Mighty J requirements.” It has the 3 colors of the MighTy J rainbow, Apple liquor for the green, Banana liquor for the yellow, and Li hing powder for the orange. It does have Vodka in it so it can be served in a Martini glass. Beyond that, like the music of Mighty J, the friggin drink packs a punch!
Special thanks to Mark Sullivan of Cocktailshawaii.com for having our MighTy J Martini as their Featured Cocktail for September ‘07! If you haven’t had the chance to try one yet, please checkout our recipe and tell your local bartender you want a MIGHTY J MARTINI!!!

MighTy J on KHNL 8 Morning News (August 17th, 2007)
We had a blast on KHNL’s Morning Show with co-anchor Angela Keen, who was flying solo, because Marvin was on vacation. Viewers woke up to MTJ on a beautiful “Aloha Friday,” serenaded with 3 original songs off our debut album: “Calling Out,” “All of Me” and “Do You.” Coincidently, on the same show was motivational speaker and teacher of The Law of Attraction, Lisa Nichols. We were honored to have a quick chat with her and absorb the power of The Secret. Special thanks to Precision Sound and the KHNL crew: Angela (you are a pimptress now-LOL), Jason AKA “Mighty J,” JT and the rest of the crew that worked hard to make us sound good

MighTy J on KHON’s Morning Show (July 17, 2007)

Segments of their “Girls Night Out” video set the stage for MighTy J as they stood in studio with Jai Cunningham. Addressing the creation of MAI+T+J, Tiki mentions that the formation of the collaborative group was due to their “love of music” and also their all girl band called “She Rocks,” which includes 6-sum: Mai, T and J and their partners in their other groups, Lei, Noli and Zaysha. JROQ discusses one of the best things about this project was being able to “think outside of the box,” creating a different sound and hopefully starting a trend for other musicians to follow. MighTy J music brings Island Contemporary Pop to a whole new level.
The remaining portion of the time, they focus on the how they’ve utilized technology through their website featuring vidcasts, blogs and a free bonus track, only available to download on www.mightyjmusic.com. Viewers are encouraged to watch “MighTy J TV” to learn more about the girls and their journey with this project , from recording tracks on their album to video diarying their experiences on interviews and performances.
