MighTy J participates for Annual World Children’s Day (Honolulu)

Bright and early on November 20th, MighTy J volunteered their time to raise funds for Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) global fundraiser. First stop was Makiki McDonald’s on Beretania St, where we joined Manolo Morales Live on KHON morning news. Next stop was Nimitz McDonald’s where we tried our best to sell as many newspapers we could…in the drive thru and in the restaurant.

Every year, dozen’s of Hawaii media personalities, politicians and celebrities pitch in to help generate awareness and funds for our local RMHC chapter. RMHC of Hawaii is best known for providing a home away from home for neighbor island families seeking medical treatment in Honolulu for critically ill child.

Mahalos to Morgan and the Communications Pacific crew for recruiting us to participate!!! In the spirit of giving, we are blessed to be able to support local charities and share our time for a good cause.

Hard Rock Cafe hosts “Women in Rock” Featuring MighTy J (Honolulu and Lahaina, Maui)

HRC Honolulu and Lahaina host their Rocktober Event to benefit Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Honolulu affiliate) and Pacific Cancer Foundation (Maui affiliate) in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. MighTy J performed in Lahaina on October 26, 2007 and in Honolulu on October 27, 2007. We were honored to represent women in rock and support HRC and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Breakthrough Teens Concert and Awareness Event (Windward Mall, Oahu)

MighTy J performs at Breakthrough Teen’s program in Kaneohe, HI on October 20, 2007. We were happy to support this non-profit program to help our youth discover their full potential. Their program consists of an intensive youth development course and an aftercare that includes adult mentoring.
